Server Information

IONCROSS is a privately-owned Freelancer server which was originally available for public access on July 18, 2003. The server was one of the first public servers to feature Victor's MP Enhancement mod, and quickly became quite popular with over 1000 different international users (and over 2000 character accounts).

In order to properly test the new upcoming IONCROSS Freelancer: TOTAL WAR mod, the server was closed to the public February 7, 2004. It was re-opened May 29, 2004 for the TOTAL WAR open beta.

The IONCROSS server is located in Troy, Michigan USA and is hosted on a Comcast Cable high-speed connection. The connection runs at 2mbit up and 12mbit down.

The game server was hosted for many years by Miax and is now being hosted by Chevy.
